Miss Asia results inconsistent, results may change
Tuesday, December 16, 2008

This year's Miss Asia Pageant's 20th Anniversary" allowed people to vote through the internet and cell phones. This year the winners were not judged by a panel of judges rather the public. Eunis Yao was crowned the winner, Belinda Yan 1st runner up and Lene Lai 2nd runner up. But yesterday ATV Executive Chairman Linus Cheung held a Press conference to announce that there were problems with the voting machine and the results were inconsistent therefore they will start investigations. Former Miss Asia Candy Lo Lum expressed that when she heard the results might change she found it very funny. She personally felt that the winners deserved their titles and doesn't support ATV's decision in re-electing a new winner. Kenneth Chan also found that this had become a joke.
