Yung has been titled the "Most popular female singer" for the last five years, and to get the award for the sixth year running, she says, it will be an encouragement and is most happy to receive it.
At a community event yesterday, Yung was overwhelmed with emotions and tears. She explained later that she had not visited her grandmothers in the longest time ever and felt unfilial. As a public figure, her mother refused to let her join in the yum cha sessions with her grandmothers, in fear that the restaurant would be overcrowded with her fans.
