Wang Lee Hom with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra is a series of three shows scheduled between December 22 and 24 at the Hong Kong Cultural Center. The first performance was completely sold out, in the opening Lee Hom conducted the orchestra and his fans all responded with applause. Besides singing, he played the violin and also the organ to perform "Forever Love" and "龍的傳人/Descendant Of The Dragon", his fans were all mesmerized. With the holidays approaching, Lee Hom wished his fans a Merry Christmas in Cantonese, then he performed in public for the first time songs from his new album debuting Boxing Day, "Everything" and "Jingle Bell Rock". He also sang Italian opera, his fans were enthralled. Originally the show was scheduled for an hour and a half but the audience requested encore several times. As a result Lee Hom reappeared four times, finally he sang along while playing "唯一/One and Only", putting an end to a perfect concert.
Lee Hom was very satisfied with his opening performance, he was also very excited about his first cooperation with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and singing to an orchestral accompaniment. He said he learned a lot about conducting. As for singing along while playing "唯一/One and Only", he explained that the Orchestra didn't request him to perform this song. About taking his shoes off while playing the organ, he said with a laugh: "Besides using my hands to play the organ, my feet have to play the pedals at the same time." When asked about Chang Hui Mei who recently completed a concert in Hong Kong, he replied he didn't know Ah Mei came to Hong Kong to perform, mainly because he had been preoccupied with his own concert and had not noticed.
