Edelweiss Cheung may have to withdraw competing in Miss Chinese International 2009

Miss Hong Kong 2008 winner Edelweiss Cheung was originally going to represent Hong Kong to compete in Miss Chinese International 2009. But last Thursday she suddenly told TVB that she doesn't think she can cope due to having poor health conditions and may have to withdraw. If Edelweiss withdraws Miss Hong Kong 1st Runner up Skye Chan will take her place in representing Hong Kong.It is said that Edelweiss has emotional mental problems and finds it difficult to handle the tough pressure of a pageant. TVB assistant director of public relations Tsang Sing Ming said he will have to look at her doctor's report and listen to professional advice before making a decision. He will also notify Skye Chan in case she needs to replace Edelweiss.
