'Lady Cop Papa Crook' to premier on 23rd; Michelle Ye 'makes' Eason Chan 'cry when playing couple

'Lady Cop Papa Crook' casting Michelle Ye with Sammi Cheng, Eason Chan and Zhang Guo Li will soon be hitting the screens on 23rd, Michelle Ye was in Beijing yesterday to talk about the interesting behind scenes during the filming.
Michelle Ye revealed that at a point of time, she played the role of 'tear bomb' for Eason Chan in the movie. They played a pair of husband and wife where their son was kidnapped and the script required him to cry. Eason who has never played a crying scene before couldn't cry. Michelle led him saying: "Actually men too have their sorrow although they may not necessarily let a tear drop." These words unexpectedly stirred Eason's memory on some sad memories, and finally did his first crying scene in his acting career.
Michelle Ye was once TVB's fa dan, acting in more than 30 series including 'Central Affairs'. Recent years however, she is seen to be challenging the bid screen and has filmed less series. Michelle Ye expressed, she personally hopes to still have opportunities to try some series production, but in Hong Kong, movie actors and series actors are of different line, thus her company has not been encouraging her to film series.
