When Charles returned to Hong Kong, had already paid HK$170,000 of his debt and thought that was it, however back in Hong Kong it was a different story, his $170,000 debt turned into $800,000, then he realized that it was a scam. He was accused of not being sincere enough, therefore his parents' home and his company was covered in red paint. As of now, he has asked the police for assistance and that he regrets his mistake. He apologizes to his family, friends and his company (TVB) for his mistake and agrees to accept any kind of consequence that is given to him.
