Michael Miu : Being a boss is very difficult
Wednesday, November 26, 2008
Michael Miu, Simon Yam, Felix Wong and Carlo Ng attended a ribbon cutting for a new restaurant in Wan Chai as special guests. Michael said he was only there to support his friend. He said "I don't know anything about the catering industry, if I was to choose to invest in something I would pick something I'm familiar with".The financial crisis has had a big impact all over the world. As the boss of a Optician's store he said he understands how difficult it is for bosses. He said "Most bosses do not want their own business to close down. I think cutting down wages is better than not having a job. At this time operating a business is very hard. Staff should work together with their boss and get past the difficult times". He also said he only had 3 members of staff in his business. Although the business has been affected by the financial crisis but he will not make them redundant or cut down their wages due to this".
