Louise Lee and Shirley Yeung have one thing in common

Louise Lee and Shirley Yeung who are born in 2 different generations but also Beauty Pageant winner's, played the younger and older version of Hor Ma in (Moonlight Resonance). Both of them have different views on fame and fortune but they have one thing in common which is that they will "Only" concentrate on the person they love and are stubborn minded about it. No matter from what age group women will find the word (Love) a difficult test in their lives.

Both of them started out joining a beauty pageant. Louise joined Hong Kong Princess beauty pageant in 1968, while Shirley joined Miss Hong Kong 2001. Earlier, the producer of (Moonlight Resonance) saw things they had in common. He casted Shirley to play the younger version of Louise's role Hor Ma. But Louise previously objected the idea. Louise said "I did ask the producer why they asked Shirley to play the role? I think that she doesn't resemble myself at all. She is very petite and I am a northerner, when I entered the industry I was quite big". Shirley also claimed she's not as pretty as Louise's younger years. Both of them flattered and praised each other's beauty.

Due to being beautiful Louise naturally attracted many pursuers. Louise still remembers memorable moments of her younger years. "In the past many rich guys pursued me but I didn't choose any of them. I only wanted a guy that was really interested in me. My mother didn't allow me to date but I personally liked a doctor who was poor. Before I married I knew my ex husband family's financial conditions had declined but I felt that this guy had alot of knowledge and was very good to me. I am not a ( 朝 三 暮 四 ) "What is 'three' in the morning, becomes 'four' in the evening" woman. (To change my mind often person). But in the end Louise experienced 2 failed marriages.

Shirley Yeung also experienced a similar situation. There were rumours in the past claiming her mother and TVB forced her to break up with Gregory Lee. She explained "My mother has never objected, of course while studying she has warned me but after getting into work she has allowed me to date freely. Actually, I have always been low profile about my relationships. I have never had rich guys pursue me before, even if I contact more male friends, they will quickly know the situation I am in and we will not go any further".

Refuses Politely and will not compete to win awards anymore

Louise had been in the Entertainment industry for over 30 years. She already has no feeling towards fame and fortune. Last year she became the TV Queen and gossip came from all directions which made her very tired of them. "Last year they said I was not getting along with Susanna Kwan. This year they said I was reporting to the TVB Executives about Raymond Lam. Why would I do that? That is why I intend to not particpate in the TVB Anniversary Award Ceremony starting next year. I hope to give others more opportunties".

Louise is someone who will cryout against injustice, whereas Shirley has a weaker personality. Even if she was bullied she would not say a word. Louise smiled and casually said "I think she might get bullied". Shirley who appeared awkward responded by saying "Since a young age, my mother has told me not to say things unnecessarily, If I don't know something to not pretend I know and that I have to pay attention to people talking carefully. Of course I have times when I'm unhappy. I am a big cry baby, but after crying I am okay because I have support from family and friends".

Seeing the younger artists happy, she would think of her daughter

Louise Lee's daughter lives in Canada and they both had to separate. While listening to Shirley speaking of her warm family, this made Louise a little emotional. She said "Shirley is a very good girl, but my daughter isn't living with me. Sometimes I don't even know what she is up to. I know that she is too straight forward. She is like myself, when we see something that isn't right we will say something". Shirley doesn't mind giving all her earnings to her mother. She smiled "Many people say I save money and do not spend. If my family are happy then I am happy".
