Sire Ma sets off to compete in Miss International 2008

Sire Ma will set off to Japan today to represent Hong Kong. She will compete in (Miss International Pageant 2008). Miss Hong Kong's Edelweiss Cheung, Skye Chan and Samantha Ko prepared skin care products and medications for her yesterday so that she could use them when needed. Sire also learned a few phrases in Japanese to introduce herself.When asked about competing with 64 contestants worldwide and if she had confidence in winning the crown? Sire said "I am not competing for the award, what is most important for me is to gain experience from this and promote cultural exchange". TVB had made several evening gowns and cultural costumes for Sire to wear at the pageant. "I have not been worried about my body being petite, perhaps I may have an advantage". She has prepared Hong Kong chopsticks and Beijing Opera paper cuttings as souvenirs for the other contestants.
